Dry Creek is a small town in Alaska that is located in the heart of the Anchorage-Juno-Barlow triangle. In this area, as in the Bermuda Triangle, people go missing all the time. Yet no one has been able to find a single body in decades.

Amelia spent her entire childhood in this wilderness, and here she faced a series of misfortunes. First her younger brother died of leukemia, and then her mother, who could not cope with the loss, committed suicide. Before entering college in England, the protagonist lived with her father, but in her final year he died under unexplained circumstances. While writing her thesis, the heroine decides to return to her hometown to the family home to complete her peace and quiet. However, here she encounters a series of terrible phenomena.

Gameplay

Among the main gameplay chips of the psychological horror game Noctem should be noted:

1. The gamer must explore the locations and look for asthma inhalers, because the protagonist suffers from this disease.
2. There will be no combat and no enemies - the gameplay is exclusively peaceful in nature.
3. To pass the storyline, the gamer needs to look for key items, interact with them in the inventory and solve physical puzzles, including those related to the use of previously found items.
4. Some events exacerbate feelings of anxiety, which can lead to an asthmatic attack.
5. It is important to read all the notes, which will uncover plot holes and provide clues for the future.
